This weekend we had 2 birthday parties....first, Jeanne, Evan's favorite girl friend, invited us to her place Saturday. Then little Jeremy invited us to a great park/clubhouse in San Francisco. Evan had a blast...as did we! Elia was very good. Also, today (the 7th) is my mom's birthday. So Evan sang "happy birthday" on the phone to Grandma, but he wanted to sing it in French...
First, Tim did the "Mummy game" with Jeanne, then the neighbor/friend.

After the cake and presents, the little ones play...well, separately but kind of together.Apres le gateau et les cadeaux, les petits jouent...pas exactement ensemble mais presque.

While most kids were outside playing, there was some recreational drug use. That drug? Helium. Tim grabbed a balloon and yelled to the whole place, "Who wants to take some helium?!?!" Then he sucked in a bunch and spoke in a chipmunk voice. Oh, yeah, and to help me be de-stressed for the weekend, before any party, I had to run... Elia came with me, the first time in the jogging stroller without the car seat! We only did 3 miles running, plus half a mile walking...Oh, et pour m'aider etre de-stresse pour le weekend, avant les fetes, je voulais courir... Elia est venue avec moi, la premiere fois dans la poussette sans le siege auto! On n'a fait que 5 km en courrant et 1 en marchant...

Yes, Tung and I saw that 280 light over the weekend when driving. It's hard not to notice it! Hehe, you wear your Making Strides t-shirt when jogging. I wear it to aikido, too, underneath my gi.
If you scroll quickly up and down on the 3 swing photos of Elia, it looks like she's swinging back and forth :).
