Bon Noel!

On s'est reveille tres tot... Meme Elia ne pouvait pas dormir, elle voulait voir ce que Santa l'a laisse. Evan aussi bien sur.

We woke up very early... Even Elia couldn't sleep, she wanted to see what Santa left her. Evan too, of course.

Happy Christmas Eve, want a flower? Dang, I'm tired!
Bonne jour avant Noel, tu veux une fleur? Oh, je suis fatiguee!Do you know how sweet Evan is? Well, before touching his own presents, he found one for Elia, and helped her open that first.
Est-ce que tu sais a quel point Evan est gentil? Avant de toucher ses cadeaux, il a trouve un pour Elia, et il l'a aide l'ouvrir.

Santa brought Evan a bike!
Plus tard on est alle au parc. Evan a pris son velo! It took a bit of practice, but on the way home he was going so fast Maman had to trot to keep up!
Later on we went to the park. Evan rode his bike! Il fallait qu'il s'entraine un peu, mais en rentrant, il allait si vite qu'il fallait que Maman courre!

Parfois, les choses ont l'air d'etre si parfaites, je penses que ca ne pouvait pas etre reel. Mais ce l'est. Evan et Elia le sont. On est content.
Sometimes thing so perfect, I think it can't be real. But it is. Evan and Elia are. We are happy.

I'm stealing a photo...

from Tim. JR took our camera so no blogging for me! Well, I guess I could take photos with my cell phone but those wouldn't be very clear... Jeanne came to visit, yay! Elia is already looking up to her so much ;).

Je vole une photo de Tim. JR a pris l'appareil photo alors pas de blog pour moi! Oui, je peux prendre des photos avec mon mobile mais elles ne sont pas geniales.... Jeanne est venu nous voir, ouaie! Elia l'admire deja beaucoup. ;)

Goin' Bollywood

Une copine, Sri, a fete son anniversaire hier avec une fete Bollywood. Heureusement, elle et son mari nous a prete des vetements pour toute notre famille! Merci, Sri et Chethan!

A friend of ours, Sri, celebrated her birthday yesterday with a Bollywood party. Fortunately, she and her husband lent our whole family clothes for the event! Thanks, Sri and Chethan!

On etait tous pret pour partir et Elia hurlait--elle avait faim (j'ai l'impression que ca arrive souvent...). Alors le JR indien a fait mange sa fille indienne...

We were all ready to leave and Elia was screamin--she was hungry (it seems like that happens often...). So the Indian JR fed his Indian daughter....OK, on est un peu blanc pour passer pour indien...(surtout Elia, elle a l'air de briller!)
OK, so we're a bit white to pass as Indian...(especially Elia--it's like she's glowing!)

A la fete la photographe a pris des photos de chaque famille, alors je mettrai cette photo bientot si je pourrais. Comme ca on aura une photo de nous quatre ensemble!
