Happy Halloween!

J'aurais plus de photos de moi (la giraffe) bientot (beaucoup de gens ont prit des photos de moi au travail). Tout le monde a rigole. L'apres-midi, je suis allee cherche Evan parce que on avait le 'trick-or-treating' a mon travail, pour tous les enfants des employees. Evan courrait partout, en criant, "More bonsbons!!!"

I'll have more photos of me (the giraffe) soon (lots of people took my photo at work). Everyone laughed. In the afternoon I got Evan and brought him to work because they had trick-or-treating for all employees' kids. Evan was running everyone yelling "More bons-bons!!!"

Au Pumpkin Patch

Toute la creche est allee au 'pumpkin patch' la semaine derniere, et je suis venue aussi. J'ai emmene Evan et son copain. Ils etaient tres content ensemble.

The whole daycare went to the pumpkin patch last weekend, and I volunteered to help out. I brought Evan and his friend. They were so happy to be together.

Comment il fait Papi?

Papa a demande a Evan, "comment il fait Papi?" et voila sa reponse...
Papa asked Evan "how does Papi go?" and here's his response...


C'est parce que Papi et en train de faire la sieste sur le canape, et il ronfle. Chaque fois qu'Evan l'entend, il l'imite.

It's because Papi is taking a nap right now on the couch, and he's snoring. Every time Evan hears him, he copies him.

Comme Papi dit (a moi) "tu es mechante!"
As Papi says to me, "you're so mean!"

Evan a prit Grandpere par la main, l'a emene au salon, et lui a donne un livre. Grandpere a lit des livres avec lui, et a meme chante avec lui.

Evan took Grandpa by the hand, led him to the living room, and gave him a book. Grandpa read books to him and even sang to him.

Death of a tree

La mort d'un arbre

Il y a quelque semaines, on avait fait couper notre grand arbre. C'etait triste, mais il falait, parce que c'etait malade. Mais, maintenant, le jardin/piscine sont beaucoup plus ensoleilles.

A few weeks ago, we had our tree cut down. It was sad, but we had to do it, because it was sick. But on the bright side (pun intended), the backyard is much sunnier.
