Bonjour, Papi! et Yosemite!

Papi est la! Enfin, pas pour le moment, mais il est arrive vendredi et Evan a saute dans ses bras des qu'il l'a vu. Et puis, Papi avait envi d'un gros burger americain, avec une grosse biere, alors on est alle a BJ's (il se souvenait de ce resto, ca doit etre bon!)

Papi is here! Well, not for the moment, but he arrived Friday and Evan jumped in his arms right when he saw him. Then, Papi had a hankering for a big American burger with a big beer, so we went to BJ's (he remembered this restaurant, so it must be good!)

Samedi matin on est parti pour aller a Yosemite. Petite pause a Starbucks... Remarquez les bas des machoires--les sourrires sont pareils!

Depuis 2 semaines...

J'ai emmene des fleurs a la creche pour Teacher's appreciation week...
I brought flowers to the daycare for Teacher's appreciation week...
C'est l'amour--le tuyau d'arrosage... Evan, il adore ca. La, il fait semblant d'arroser les fleurs. Aussi, il fait un bruit avec sa bouche pour simuler l'eau qui coule (un peu comme "phlphhplhplhph").
It's love--with the garden hose... Evan loves it. Here, he's pretending to water the flowers. Also, he makes a noise with his mouth to simute running water (kind of like "phlphhplhplhph").
Et il m'explique ce qu'il fait (sans mots, juste les sons)...

Groovy...Le 'beanbag' enorme que j'ai achete sur l'internet pour JR, qui est evidement tros gros et que je vais echanger pour un beaucoup plus petit (alors j'ai mis la 'jolie' couverture pour le proteger)...
The enormous beanbag that I bought JR on the internet, that is obviously too big and that I am going to exchange for a much smaller one (hence the lovely blanket protecting it)...
Et, il a la belle Jeanne qui est venue hier! Evan etait timide, mais enfin, quand personne ne le demander, il a tapote le rocher a cote de lui, pour que Jeanne s'assoie a cote de lui. On a pose Jeanne a cote, on a courru pour attraper les appareils. Voila la fin du moment spontane...
And, the beautiful Jeanne came over yesterday! Evan was shy, but finally, when no one was asking him to, he tapped the rock next to him, for Jeanne to sit next to him. We put Jeanne next to him, and ran to get cameras. Here is the end of the spontaneous moment...
Son copain Akhil est venu aussi, mais malheureusement on n'a pas de photos (mais voir le blog de Tim)! Mais Akhil etait tres mignon, il avait l'air de s'amuser.
His friend Akhil came over too, but unfortunately we don't have photos (but look at Tim's blog)! But he was so cute, he seemed to have a good time too.

Et on a loupe toute la ceremonie parce qu'il faisait trop de bruit. Mais ce n'etait pas grave--Maman et Evan a joue dehors pendant une heure, et apres personne pouvait nous trouver! Apres, un dine sympa dans un beau jardin, avec les copains, dans les montagnes pres de Santa Cruz...

And we missed the whole ceremony because he was being too noisy. But that's okay--Mommy and Evan played outside for an hour, and afterwards no one could find us! After this, a nice dinner in a beautiful garden, with friends, in the mountains near Santa Cruz...Les jolis maries...
