This morning on the way to the game, Evan said "Maman, I think this white team doesn't play very well." I tought him the term "trash-talking," said it's not very nice. He also asked me to cheer for him, very loudly, during the game. All I thought was, "that'll change soon..." and then I cheered for him. When I did sometimes he would glance at me and smile.
Ce matin en allant au match, Evan m'a dit, "Maman, je crois que les blancs ne jouent pas tres bien" [c'etais l'equipe blanche]. Je lui ai dis que ce n'est pas tres gentil. Il m'a demande aussi de crier tres fort pour lui, pendant le match. J'ai pense "ca ne va pas durer, ca..." et puis je criais "go Evan!". Parfois quand je l'ai fait il m'a regarde, il a sourit.
