Pique-niques et premier spa!

Company picnics (mine last Sat., JR's today), pool/spa time, and just hangin' out...
Les pique-niques pour la companie de moi et JR, piscine/spa, et du temps pour rien faire...

Au pique-niques de TeleNav, Evan voulait une araignee sur la joue...
At the TeleNav picnic, Evan wanted a spider on his cheek...
Maman waits for her turn to karaoke (yes, I did: "Love Shack" with 3 other girls. It was quite awful...but fun!). Unfortunately, JR and Evan missed my karaoke show--they were getting aforementioned spider on cheek.

Maman attend son tour pour faire du karaoke (oui, je l'ai fait: "Love Shack" avec 3 autres filles. Assez horrible...mais on s'est amuse!). Malheureusement, JR et Evan ont loupe mon spectacle--ils etaient en train de faire l'araignee.
Au pique-nique d'Asic--tout le monde regarde un magicien. Evan etait fascinee! Moi, je m'inquietais pour le magicien (qui avait vers 80 ans), qui etait habille en costume noir au plein soleil et il faisait tres, tres chaud!
At the Asic picnic--everyone watches a magician. Evan was fascinated! I was worried for the magician (who was around 80 years old), who was dressed in a black suit in the full sun, and it was very, very hot!
Maman voulait emmenait Elia dans le spa pour la premiere fois. Apres tout, elle a un petit maillot adorable qui est presque trop petit! Il faut le mettre au moins une fois!
Maman wanted to bring Elia in the spa for the first time. After all, she has an adorable swimsuit that is almost too small for her! Gotta put in on at least once!

Encore un biberon dans la voiture (le dernier--Elia hurlait pendant un bon moment, alors on a decide de se depecher a la maison apres ca...)

And after lots of car time, after the little ones are in bed, the big ones party! The pool was also really nice at this time of night...

Elia rit

Why is having kids great? One reason is because, sometimes, in the middle of your daily routine, your child will do something so amazing, or funny, or cute, or touching, and you forget everything for that moment, except the pure happiness and love you feel...

For example, yesterday, Elia did not laugh and never had. Tonight, she laughed--for the first she really truly laughed. And we got it on video!

Pourquoi c'est bien d'avoir les enfants? Une raison, c'est parce que, parfois, au milieu de ta routine quotidienne, ton enfant fait quelque chose tellement geniale, ou marrante, ou mignonne, ou touchante, que tu oublies tout pendant ce moment-la, sauf le bonheur pur et l'amour que tu ressentis...

Par exemple, hier, Elia n'a pas rit et elle n'avait jamais rit. Ce soir, elle a rigole--elle a vraiment rit pour la premiere fois. Et on a prit une video!
