Happy new year! Yes, a little late, but it's still January at least.I made a 'galette des rois' since they're easy to make (and why spend $30 on one at some fancy French bakery when it won't even be that good?) I hid the 'feve'--a little plastic monkey--after baking it, and of course, Evan found it so he was the king!
J'ai fais une galette des rois, parce que c'est assez facile a faire (et ici, ca coute $30 et ce n'est meme pas bon). J'ai cache la feve--un petit singe plastique--apres le cuisson, bien sur. Evan l'a trouve alors il etait le roi!
Since I made him a cake, Evan makes me coffee. It's true! Almost all by himself. He makes espresso for Papa and Maman (sometimes he brings it to me in my room).Parce que je lui ai fait un gateau pour Evan, il me fait le cafe. C'est vrai! Presque tout seule, il fait le cafe a Papa et a Maman (il me l'amene dans la chambre, parfois).
So to continue the cycle, I made another cake (lava cake).Alors pour que le cycle continue, j'ai fais un autre gateau.

haha! the lava cake was sooo difficult...i got a mix, in a box, and added eggs and butter ;). but it was still really good!
