Babe and Regis arrived last Wednesday, we were so happy. Thursday we left for Mendocino, north of San Francisco (about 5 hours by car from our house). It was beautiful--we had a big house next to the ocean...

Un jour, Jean-Robert et Regis sont descendus, sur les rochers. C'est TRES dangereux. Une vague enorme les a trompe. J'ai crie, parce que les gens sont morts comme ca... Et voila, ils crient aussi. Moi: "Vous aurez pu mourir!" Eux: "Mais nooooooon!"One day, Jean-Robert and Regis went down to the rocks on the ocean's edge. It's SUPER dangerous. A big wave swept over them, soaking them. I yelled, because people have died that way. And here they are, yelling also. Me: "You could have died!". Them: "Noooo, of course not!"

On partait, et Evan a voulu porter les bouteilles... Non, c'est vrai! On ne l'avait pas forcer!We were leaving, and Evan wanted to carry the water bottles... Really, I swear! We didn't force him!

C'est un pont rouge...allonge a la baie ou on vient a pied... (euh, no, ce n'est pas ca, mais on n'a pas vu de maisons bleues)... Le vent etait tres tres tres fort et tres tres tres froid!Guess... We have many photos of this same view, with many different loved ones and friends! The wind was sooooooooo strong and soooooooooo cold!
Mardi matin: Babe et Regis partent pour allez a Death Valley, Monument Valley, etc etc... Evan est content parce qu'il croit qu'on part tous les cinque. Il les a pris par les mains, et apres quand on lui a dit qu'il allait a la creche avec Maman, sans eux, il a pleure, pleure, pleure. Et le soir, quand on est arrive et la maison etait vide, il a pleure, pleure, pleure... Mais ils reviennent, Evan!Tuesday morning: Babe and Regis leave to go on a road trip to Death Valley, Monument Valley, etc etc... Evan is so happy because he thinks we're all going on a trip together, again. He takes them by the hands, and after we tell him he's going to the daycare with Mommy, without Babe and Regis, he cried, cried, cried... And in the evening, when we arrived home to an empty house, he cried, cried, cried... Don't worry, Evan, they'll be back!

Oui, je sais que c'est dur de les reconnaitre... Le phoque, en fait, c'est celui sans lunettes, qui ne crie pas ;)
